Changing the Image of Pickleball One Graphic Tee at a Time
Team jojo+lo launched in October 2021 as a women-owned start-up business, branding trendy pickleball apparel and accessories with the tagline, Pickleball Wear ~ With Flair. It all started when we registered to play in the 2021 PPA Foot Solutions Arizona Grand Slam, and were searching online for something fun and stylish to compete in as doubles partners in the tournament. We found a lot of fluorescent green tees with comical images of dancing pickles and pickleballs with smiley faces, but couldn’t find anything that we liked that was specifically for pickleball. After a disappointing search, we ended up wearing basic navy and white tops and skirts that were already in our closets. Shopportunity fail! Jojo and I lost the tournament in two short sets, but our fruitless attempt to find cute pickleball apparel sparked an idea. After brainstorming together for a few months, we created multiple designs that we loved and would proudly wear on and off the pickleball courts. Our mission is to design a line of quality graphic tees, tanks, zip-ups, hats, etc. for pickleball enthusiasts of all ages everywhere to change the image of pickleball one graphic tee at a time.
The response to jojo+lo Pickleball Wear ~ With Flair has been incredibly positive. We continue to expand our six different collections of designs…Hipster, Retro, State-ment, Flair, Chill and Americana. We have created over 80 unique products and many more are in the works. One of our key partnerships is with with the PPA - Professional Pickleball Association, and we have joined their national tour. As we continue to sell the cutest pickleball merchandise on the planet…online, at pop-up sales, and tournaments nationwide, we are moving toward our goal to wholesale with major retailers.

Jodi "Jojo" is a graphic designer, married to Peter who loves pickleball, and is mom to Ella and Ragdoll cat ~ Juneau. She spends as much time as possible on pickleball courts and tennis courts. She loves travelling anywhere to play in pickleball tournaments, spending summers fly-fishing in Northern Michigan, skiing in Park City, and running on the beach and hitting the courts in Siesta Key, Florida.
Lori "Lo" worked for a children’s non-profit grief center for 15 years where she managed Development and Public Relations. She is married to Ron, and mom to Stephanie and Malshi ~ Hampton. Lori was fortunate to take her first pickleball lessons 10 years ago from Simone Jardim & Dan Howard. Her favorite pickleball courts are in East Lansing, MI, Scottsdale, AZ, and Naples, Florida. When she’s not in the “kitchen” she can be found cooking up a new recipe for her Grayhawk, AZ recipe column.
